Manav Nirman (Capacity Building of Volunteers), Pune

Manav Nirman aims to create honest, passionate & studious volunteers who are necessary to effectively run the social activities. Many young people want to participate in ‘social work’. For the work of Manav Nirman we believe that mere sense of social responsibility and sincere intention to work is not enough.

Special skills set, overall understanding about the concerning sector and adaptability to change according to changing times is required. Hence, we organize orientation and trainings to such volunteers to contribute effectively. Moreover, we believe that it is not enough to have a good volunteer but the individual should be a good human being as well. This is the basic objective that we want to achieve through Manav Nirman. Thousands of volunteers have completed our training and the trainings will continue.

We have published a book series of five books edited by Late Shri Vilas Chapekar Sir and Smt. Pratibha Tai Gundi named ‘Paya samajkaryacha’ to help people understand the basics of social work.

Vanchit Vikas team members are also given opportunities to participate in trainings organised by other organisations.
