Abhiruchi

Commencement : This activity started in 1982. It has been growing along with the organization.

Area of Operation : Vidarbha, Marathwada, Western Maharashtra. These classes are conducted in various villages and in slum areas.

We have started creative activities and recreational centres in rural areas since 1982. We believe that children should have freedom of expression, to have multifaceted personality and should be respected as individuals. Hence at Abhiruchi centres games, sports, songs, dance, street plays, art and craft for children are conducted. We feel rewarded when former Abhiruchi members approach us to enrol their children at centre. There are six Abhiruchi centres in Pune and many more in the villages of the project area.
