After completing the rural development needs, we have started working on the project for preventing female foeticide, enhancing girl’s education in rural areas of Junnar and Vashi sub district since 2013 through generating awareness on the above issues thereby empowering women.

The rural development work and women’s empowerment makes our team members part of families staying in rural areas. The work includes awareness about government schemes and awareness about rights of common people in our country.

We also focus on single women and their quality of life in our project ‘Abhaya’. Abhaya is a women’s platform where they express themselves freely without any prejudice, fear of being labelled or stigmatized, find friends, share and learn from each other. In addition, need based skill trainings are arranged time to time. Most of the women come here to relieve themselves from the feeling of loneliness and stress. Women with varied backgrounds right from semi-literate to highly educated, home makers to professionals, poor to rich enjoy together.
