Since November 1994 a Mobile health clinic was operational for commercial sex workers, transgender & general population in the area. We helped in rehabilitation of those women who want to get out of this profession, despite it being an extremely difficult task. We helped protect them and tried to prevent abuse, to have good health and hygiene with regular check-up, facility of DOT centre, link ART centre, HIV counselling centre, treatment for sexually transmitted diseases and addiction etc. We regularly organized cultural programmes, literacy programmes, encourage opening of bank saving account, etc. With all the above required activities we observe a fall in number of deaths among HIV positive patients.
