Abhiruchi

Commencement : This activity started in 1982. It has been growing along with the organization.

Area of Operation : Pune, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Western Maharashtra. These classes are conducted in various villages and in slum areas.

We started recreational centres at multiple locations since 1982. We believe that children should have freedom of expression, to have multifaceted personality and should be respected as individuals. Hence at Abhiruchi centres games, sports, songs, dance, street plays, and creative activities like art and craft for children are conducted. We feel rewarded when former Abhiruchi members approach us to enrol their children at the centre. There are 15 Abhiruchi centres in Pune and many more in the villages of the project area. We have reached 35,000 children through this program. These activities help develop personality of these children. We work towards protection of child rights.
